Our teams in Northern Ireland and the United States build, deliver and support systems that our customers depend on to manage their information. Due to growing demand for our solutions in multiple markets, Trace First is expanding, and exciting opportunities exist for positions within our team. You can play a key role in developing and delivering solutions across markets in which we are already the established leader, as well as territories where we seek expansion.

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our team.

We’re looking for disciplined, diligent developers to work on our outstanding software, which is depended on by thousands of people every day. Occasional liaison with technical end-users will be required.

We also need people who recognize that there is always more to learn, and that yesterday’s optimal solution isn’t always today’s, especially with platforms rapidly evolving.

Required skills & experience:

We don’t expect you to already have deep expertise in specific languages or operating systems: we know that great developers can pick up new languages and tools quickly if needed. You may work with Ruby on Rails, SQL and Javascript. We generally deploy to Linux systems running on Amazon’s AWS platform.

• Proven ability to work with customers and colleagues locally and remotely (Ireland & US)
• Must have a “customer first” philosophy – we take customer care very, very seriously
• Able to quickly research and learn new software, concepts, and methods
• Very clear, strong, verbal and written, English communication skills
• You’ll be comfortable at a Linux prompt and understand key software engineering concepts relating to version control, test strategies and coding tools.
• Must be drug free (no marijuana usage) and able to obtain/maintain a federal security clearance.

• This is a full-time salaried position based in our Fort Collins office. On-call and after hours work may be required from time-to-time but is not a normal part of the job.
• Our benefits package includes a profit-share program, a health and dental package, all Colorado State holidays and another 11+paid holidays per year – commensurate on an employees tenure.

Salary: From $45-50,000 based on skills and experience.
