Trans-Foam Inc Hiring for Plant Operations Manager Job at Tallmadge, OH Full Time

Trans-Foam is an insulation foam processing plant that has been a successful business for 20 years. With 15 employees and 3 locations, our purpose is to provide great quality products and service. We are a family-oriented company with a positive work environment that strives to better our employees every day.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing a team of fifteen employees across three facilities in Tallmadge and Akron to fabricate rigid board insulation. He/She will also be responsible for implementing new manufacturing processes.

Job Duties:

• Manage job schedule to meet production deadlines.
• Machine Fabrication.
• Successfully manage quality control.
• Efficiently manage job processes and setup.
• Receive customer phone calls to provide quotes and pricing.
• Review P&L’s, balance sheets and budgets to run a profitable shop.
• Manage employees including hire, fire and handle annual reviews.
• Work with maintenance staff to maintain production equipment and facilities.
• Work with engineering on new product development and job quotes.
• Understand and apply standards regarding environmental health and safety.
• Responsible for inventory management.
• Job responsibilities may change to meet the needs of the business.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Management or similar major; Five years’ experience managing a manufacturing facility; Must have machine fabricating/engineering experience or knowledge; Must be able to work well with others; Must be a leader with ability to successfully create a team-oriented environment; Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Strong verbal skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
