Summary- To provide onsite calibration of test equipment for customers within the specified location up to and including an 8-hour radius. Also, will have the opportunity to support the local Transcat laboratory when not traveling.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle tools and equipment. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver a 400-pound cart. Occasionally will be required to lift upwards of 75lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
