Scope of Responsibility:
Responsible for all functions, processes, and procedures within Human Resources, the general office, and cash office.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintains associate HR documents and files in compliance with company policy. Leads, implements, and coordinates all human resource and general office activities within the store in accordance with company guidelines.
Submits payroll weekly; maintains associate information in WFM to aide in optimal staffing within store and in compliance with federal, state and local labor laws.
Coordinates the hiring process in collaboration with the store leadership team to ensure the store has qualified candidates to fill openings; maintains compliance with regard to required pre-hire screenings.
Assists the leadership team with creating the associate’s weekly schedule.
Collaborates with store management to strategically build and foster a fun team environment for store associates that delivers a wow member experience.
Oversees all general office functions, and assists as needed. This includes all general office and cash office procedures, maintaining clean and organized work areas with filing set up in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Prints consolidated invoice reports and shipment logs daily to research and verify that open invoices are closed within 24 hours; verifies all entries for accuracy and follows-up on any found discrepancies identified.
Ensures all associates receive appropriate orientation, training, and compliance training in accordance with specific job needs as well as company policies.
Regularly updates the associate communication bulletin board; coordinates associate recognition programs including birthday and anniversary recognition.
Maintains an open door policy, assists in resolving associate issues, and responds to associate inquiries on policy, benefits, and compensation; understands proper methods, escalation channels, and resources available to obtain information or direct associates and/or managers regarding non-routine inquiries.
Communicates register errors to and works closely with the Asset Protection team to reconcile errors found on paper work weekly.
Performs other duties as assigned.

3-5 years experience in a retail environment.
Some human resources experience.
Proficient in store systems
