Typical end time: 5PM
Monday through Friday, occasional weekends or evenings
Responsible for the day to day operations that will ensure on time service and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Monitor all loads to ensure on-time service
Communicate with brokers to acquire profitable lanes and establish relationships
Communicate with drivers to coordinate trips with specific freight requirements and instructions
Plan with peers to effectively and efficiently dispatch profitable loads
Respond to and update customers in a timely and professional manner
Monitor and update shipment statuses in our system
Analyze and generate load/driver reports
Inside and Outside Sales
Skills/Qualifications:
Attention to Detail
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Ability to multi-task
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Preferred but not required:
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Degree in Business to related field relating to Supply Chain Management
Required:
5 years of experience Logistics and Supply Chain or equivalent
Must pass background check and be able to provide professional references upon request.
