Triage Partners LLC Hiring for Fiber I/R Tech – League City, TX Job at League City, TX Full Time

We are looking for experienced Fiber Field Service Technicians to install and repair fiber based services in customer homes. Do you have the ability to hit the ground running with DSL, POTS, and fiber installation and repair? If so, we want to speak with you.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Receives work assignments and trouble cases from designated employees or via tablets
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs and or installs fiber based services
• Completes aerial/UG drops during order
• Maintains a safe work environment by following safe practices and adhering to safety policies, including practicing safe driving techniques
• Performing necessary work to connect, disconnect, test, repair and maintain various types of company and customer provided telephones and equipment
• Working knowledge of handheld electronics, including smart phones, tablets, etc., preferred
• Works aloft; climb ladders and poles; enter tunnels, buildings, trenches, crawl spaces, manholes, and other confined spaces to accomplish job tasks
• May perform light digging
• May be required to stand or sit for long periods of time
• May work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Responsible for arranging work load and dealing directly with the appropriate center
• Identifying and meeting individual customer requirements on installation and/or repair contacts
• May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company

Qualifications/Experience:

• Associates/Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience is preferred
• 5-10 years Fiber/Copper I&M Telecom Experience
• Experience installing Cable TV, Data, Internet, and/or Satellite TV
• Customer service experience within the last 3 years
• Prior experience using a body belt and safety straps
• Must have own truck, tools, and 28ft ladder
• Exfo meter preferred, light loss meter
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the primary state of residence
• Must pass a drug test and background test
• Must be able to speak clearly, concisely, and to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner
