Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will be able to start on June 17th, 2024
• You will fulfill the requirements of the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program in accordance with ASHP standards.
• You will provide clinical services, staffing services, and drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists as a primary responsibility.
• You will complete a medication use evaluation and a major research project that is presented at ASHP Mid-Year Meeting and a regional residency conference respectively.
• You will assist with the education of pharmacy students from colleges of pharmacy.

What qualifications you will need:

• BS or Pharm.D degree from a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmacy Education
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with other members of the healthcare team
• The Pharmacy Resident must schedule boards within 10 days of hire
• The Pharmacy Resident does not pass the MPJE exam after the 1st attempt they will have 30 days to retake the exam
• Tennessee state licensure as a Pharmacist must be acquired within 60 days of hire
