[SUMMARY]
Associate Human Resources (HR) consultant will perform daily human resources duties for clients’ organizations. This position also helps plan HR programs and create HR documents, policies and tools to ensure the smooth operation of clients.
The essential responsibilities of the position are listed below in the following key areas:

[ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES]

• Assist with defining the company’s HR issues, goals, and requirements meeting with clients
• Conduct and support research to identify workforce issues or inefficiencies
• Support to ensure HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures and federal/state laws and regulations
• Assist with recommending solutions and providing advice on HR policies, procedures, and tools
• Collaborate with outside HR partners, lawyers, and upper management to provide effective and comprehensive HR support to our clients
• Handle HR duties for clients including payroll processing, benefits management, recruiting, etc.
• Maintain physical and digital employee records, HR documents and enter data into internal and external database
• Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
• Assist with designing and arranging HR training courses for clients as needed
• Provide recruiting support working closely with President and company’s recruiting team as needed
• Support to write reports and create proposals and quotations
• Keep abreast of industry trends, tools, practices, and advancements in technology
• Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
• Perform any other tasks or assignments as deemed necessary by the organization

[EDUCATION]

• Bachelor’s degree: in human resources, business administration or related field OR its equivalent experience
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification in the future

[EXPERIENCE and SKILLS]

• 2+ years working experience in human resources or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passionate, hard worker and well organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask
• Strong follow-up skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite(Word / Excel / PowerPoint) or related software
• Ability to design and implement effective training and development will be a plus
• Good knowledge of recruitment practices and techniques will be a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $36,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
