The SC Planning. Assoc. Resource role is part of a team that manages the replenishment planning of chilled Tropicana, Naked Juice, Kevita finished good items along with the manufacturing planning of Co-packed finished good items with the goal of maximizing product availability at the lowest total system costs.
§ Responsible for Finished Goods deployment scheduling and maintaining appropriate inventory levels for assigned distribution centers/BU items.
§ Creates product transfer loads and coordinates Rail and Truck STO activity with Warehouse and Transportation management
§ Responsible for finished goods Co-Pack/Re-Pack production planning
§ Balances operational & logistics costs to produce optimal deployment plans and production schedules
§ Shares in the responsibility to insure the key business objectives of customer fill rate, NCP waste reduction, transport mode percentages and on time delivery are met
§ Reviews and updates schedule daily to meet deployment and production planning deadlines
§ Leverages SAP suite of planning tools in conjunction with additional reports and dashboards
§ Able to work through difficult supply/service situations with Supply Chain and cross-functional partners
Job Requirements / Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or Logistics. May accept other degrees, based on experience. APICS CPIM certified would be a plus.
Required Professional experiences:
EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS
§ Minimum 2-4 years of supply chain experience
§ Understands supply chain planning, scheduling, and logistics concepts
§ Preferred experience with Distribution Requirements Planning systems, SAP, WMS
§ Ability to develop and implement process improvements
§ Demonstrated influencing and collaboration skills
§ Strong verbal and written communication skills
