Required Skills & Experience:

Tropix Shipping Inc is searching for a truck driver with 2-5 years of experience.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical.
• Must be 21 or older with no DUI’s in the last 3 years.
• Must be willing to drive on weekends.
• Ability to drive standard shift transmission.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Accurate collection of company assets to include pallets, packages, etc.
• Operate all equipment in a safe, responsible and professional manner.
• Ability to carry out instructions whether written or oral and to respond appropriately.
• Effective communication with managers, co-workers, and customers on work-related issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in the warehouse.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Overtime, attendance, and punctuality are essential functions due to the nature of our business in relation to delivery schedules, order inputs, and selection. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs to effectively carry out daily duties.
