Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator coordinates the organizations’ s daily logistical and supply chain operations to meet customer requirement for delivery and accuracy of RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorization) and shipments, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution from multiple warehouse locations both domestic and foreign.

Job Location: O’Fallon, MO

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities we are looking for:

• Review shipping notices, bill of lading, invoice, orders, Inside Sales requirements and other documents to fulfill customer orders.
• Assists shipping manager in prioritization of shipping calendar and best methods of transport. Processing freight and schedule through WMS system.
• Provide quotes to external customers based on volume of shipments.
• Handle RMA process including lost and damaged freight claims.
• Reviews inventory and incoming schedule to assist in organizing warehouse for both finished goods and service parts.
• Acts as a back up to parts shipping manager along.
• Produces shipping reports to be used and analyzed to evaluate freight programs and offers to customers.
• Works with multiple warehouse partners to ensure proper documentation is presented.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience or 5 five years prior experience in logistics, preferably in a multi warehouse environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and problem solve quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Prior experience utilizing a WMS system.
• Working knowledge of Excel.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Frequent lifting is required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• The shipping/receiving dept. is fast paced and must be able to keep up
• Warehouse is not temperature controlled.
