The HR Generalist will be responsible for the administration of Human Resources activities including, but not limited to: employee relations, full cycle recruiting, policy interpretation and maintaining accurate and complete employment records. Responsible for thorough execution of TTM’s recruiting process for assigned searches. Full life cycle recruiting: sourcing, interviewing, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This position must possess a considerable skill in interviewing techniques, as well as knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. The ideal incumbent is energetic, professional demeanor, results-oriented, has an eye for detail and a passion for finding top talent. Position reports to the Stafford Human Resources Manager. This is a six-month contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Frontline resource within the HR office to address questions, inquiries and provide HR support services to employees and the management team. Ensure company policies, procedures and practices are communicated and applied
Systems: Maintain Workday HRIS system with accurate current information
Recruitment/Staffing:
Establish strong rapport with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, determine best recruiting process for position(s) and fill vacancies in a timely manner. Provide guidance to the hiring managers through the recruitment process where needed
Process job requisitions through Paycor applicant tracking system, post and advertise jobs, review and update job descriptions, screen online applications, schedule and conduct interviews (phone and in-person), collect personnel documentation, extend offers, conduct background checks and proactively build TTM’s talent pipeline
Analyze and respond to staffing turnover and trends
Uses traditional and non-traditional resources, such as career fairs, online avenues, community network events, partnering with technical high schools and colleges, etc, to identify and attract quality candidates
Work with Corporate Talent Acquisition team to develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
Manages internal applications, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, offer letters, etc.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain timely feedback regarding recruiting process
Coordination of new hire paperwork and conduct new hire orientation
Employee relations:
Partner with employees and/or management in settling disputes, including employee relations investigations and performance improvement plans. Conduct fact finding investigations related to internal and external inquiries, complaints, and concerns, present facts and recommendations for resolve; responsible for the timely response to employee complaints regarding any HR issues
Consult on and develop strategic resolutions for organization issues or concerns while mitigating risk
Ensure compliance with appropriate state and federal employment legislation
Meet weekly and monthly deadlines including staffing and other reports, organizational chart and HR updates
Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of HR and employment laws is required
Experience with employee relations and investigations preferred, with ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Experience with full-cycle recruiting preferred
Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated ability to act in professional manner at all times, calm, flexible, resilient, solution oriented and creative
Cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Proficient computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook. Workday and Kronos systems experience a plus!
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently
Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information
Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident
Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) credential a plus
2+ years prior recruiting experience within a manufacturing environment desired
3+ years of experience with employee relations and conducting investigations preferred
Export Statement:
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
