Tucson Country Day School (TCDS) is home to the Champions! We are seeking passionate and highly qualified candidates for a 5th grade teaching position for the 2021-2022 school year, starting January 3rd.
A Champion is Collaborative, Honorable, Academic, Motivated, Persistent, Inquisitive, Optimistic, and Nurturing. Our expectations of all staff is to learn, live, and model these “Champion Traits” for students. This position would require daily collaboration with colleagues, as the 5th grade teaching team is comprised of a trio of staff, all working together to serve three cohorts of 5th grade Champions with instruction in Math, Humanities (ELA/Social Studies), Science, and Social Emotional Learning.
The 5th grade teaching position will require candidates to have a college degree, a fingerprint clearance card, and a love for developing students into Champions for life! Teaching experience is prefered, especially within a Project Based Learning setting.
