Job Description

As Turf Valley Resort’s Account Executive you are an ambassador of the Resort. You will solicit, sell and contract guest rooms with meeting space and food and beverage revenue. To be successful in this position, you must be able to adapt to the changes in the industry and the market to reach and exceed sales goals.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and/or exceed revenue goals
• Knowledge of competitors, industry and market trends
• Create and execute strategic action plans for your market to attract and maintain appropriate business to the property and maximize revenue and space
• Analyze all business opportunities and skillfully manage response to leads
• Create and execute a cadence with your accounts to ensure ongoing follow up
• Weekly/Monthly prospecting efforts to include, but not limited to: Outside Sales Calls, Cold Calls, Social Media posting through LinkedIn/Facebook, E-mailing, Site Tours, Networking events, & Tradeshows

What are we looking for?

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must provide exceptional customer service to all guests
• BA/BS degree or AA degree preferred
• 1-3 years of sales experience
• 3 years of experience as a Convention Services Manager is acceptable
