DESCRIPTION

Automotive Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with shop and factory standards and builds Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Turk Automotive as a caregiver for their vehicle safety and reliability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Test drive vehicles to reproduce and evaluate customer concerns
• · Perform standard maintenance on factory recommended intervals
• · Keep a clean and orderly workstation
• · Communicate with Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication
• · Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles
• · Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer
• · Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
• · Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

Minimum Requirements

• 3 years of automotive repair experience
• A valid driver’s license
• Must have own tools
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• ASE training and certification strongly preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail, knowledge of safety practices and ability to complete projects within a deadline
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
