The ideal Host/Server candidate has at least two years of previous experience in the restaurant industry, is comfortable working on a busy floor and in a team atmosphere, and is able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining guest satisfaction. As an upscale casual dining establishment we are looking for candidates with superior attention to detail and clear communication skills who will thrive on the demands of this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet restaurant patrons upon arrival, seat them and take food orders.
• Deliver drinks and food to patrons at tables.
• Take food and drink orders from patrons at the bar.
• Recommend wine and food pairings.
• Sell wine to patrons.
• Help ensure restaurant has adequate supply of wine on hand and order wine to replenish stock as necessary.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and provide a pleasant dining experience.
• Gather payments from customers.: Work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
