About the Role
Happify Health is hiring a Vice President to lead our People function. You will lead the team responsible for onboarding, learning & development (L&D), compensation & benefits, workforce planning, talent/recruiting, people analytics and diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I). You will build the processes and shape the culture that will best serve our people as they navigate our fast-paced, high-growth business. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
This role is ideally based in New York City but we will consider remote candidates. #LI-Remote
Responsibilities
In partnership with the COO, drive People Operations strategy and workforce planning.
Provide people and culture related thought leadership and coaching to the organization while using data to inform decision making.
Design, implement and optimize systems and processes including recruiting, onboarding, L&D, compensation & benefits, talent/recruiting and DE&I.
Lead employee relations and ensure Happify Health is up to date on best practices and employment law.
Ensure we leverage the best technology to drive efficiency throughout the function.
Lead a team of passionate, high-performing People/Talent professionals.
Qualifications
Proven success at high-growth, early or mid-stage companies known for their focus on exceptional employee experience, talent, trust, and customer loyalty.
12+ years of relevant experience with at least 3 years managing the various functional areas of People Operations.
Proven ability to create and execute programs that attract, develop, and retain outstanding talent with data to support success.
Proven ability to translate organizational and business priorities into People initiatives with metrics to support and track success.
Experience creating and implementing pragmatic and business-focused programs and initiatives.
Experience building and implementing People Operations systems from the ground up.
Demonstrated success with driving employee engagement and culture.
Working knowledge of multiple disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, DE&I, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment.
