Twin Rivers Urgent Care Hiring for Medical Billing & Coding Associate Job at Grand Island, NE Full Time

Twin Rivers Urgent Care is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to join our team! At least one year of experience in family practice, hospital setting, or urgent care billing is required, three-five years of experience is preferred.

This position will include timely submission of accurate claim data, account follow up including working appeals, denials, and rejections; and posting insurance payments and daily reconciliation of claims.

Requirements

At least one year experience in medical billing and coding

Working knowledge of medical terminology, such as: International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), or Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS)

Excellent attention to detail with data entry accuracy

Ability to multitask

Initiative to research information pertinent to job

Qualifications

Certificate in coding or insurance specialist a plus (CCI, OCE, NCD, or LCD)

Willingness to work in multiple capacities within the billing department

Experience with coding

Experience with insurance billing, posting and claim resolution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
