Reviews clinical documentation from medical records and other sources, abstracts key clinical information from these sources and accurately inputs the information into the appropriate patient record.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:

Reviews and validates medical records and related documentation per established guidelines.

Identifies and analyzes the disease status and survival data of cancer patients treated in the organization.

Participates in monitoring and evaluating multidisciplinary discussion elements, review of completed first course treatments, track and report the findings to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience.

Complies with all reporting requests and requirements, including requests by the Cancer Committee and Breast Program Leadership Committee.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

The pay range for this position is: $19.67- $25.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience.

An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
