The Human Resources Intern will work with the Human Resources team in assisting with a variety of projects and initiatives focused on enhancing the end-to-end employee life cycle experience, including talent acquisition, onboarding/orientation, benefits and wellness, employee engagement and events, HR compliance, HR analytics, and project management.
This internship goes from June 6, 2023- August 18, 2023. Are you available to commit to 20-29 hours a week, Monday through Friday, for the duration of this internship?

Essential Functions
Benefits and Wellness
Assist with the planning of employee health and wellness benefits, including student loan repayment program and mental health first aid training
HR Data Analytics
Assist with the analysis of trends and metrics
Make recommendations and prepare reports based on analysis
Compliance
Assist with the digitization of employee records
Assist with the documentation of HR processes
Talent Acquisition
Assist with job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews, as needed
Assist with onboarding new employees and new employee orientation, as needed
Employee Engagement and Internal Communication
Assist with the planning of employee events
Assist with the planning and maintenance of Intranet content, as needed
Project Management
Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various HR projects
Prepare Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents
Prepare meeting documentation and minutes
HR Process Enhancements
Identify, implement or lead enhancements to HR processes
Promote diversity and inclusion through HR processes and initiatives to ensure inclusivity of backgrounds and perspectives
Compliance
Performs other duties as assigned
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Complete required regulatory training as assigned
Maintain strict adherence and compliance to all laws, rules, regulations and internal controls specific to your role, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending regulation

Minimum Qualification
Currently enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited college or university
Minimum of 30 completed academic hours
Project management experience
Data analytics experience (including school and professional assignments)
Customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Job may require travel to various locations throughout the Austin metro area.
Must be bondable

Bachelor’s degree, with a focus on Human Resources or nonprofit management
Graduate student
