Description:

Assist and complete the timely and accurate preparation of international accounting information. Ensure proper controls are set-up, maintained, and followed for proper reporting procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and consolidate entries and financials of all international locations
• Exhibit an educated use of GAAP, in applying policies and procedures to support international, department, and company objectives
• Support international locations financial GL system(s)
• Coordinate budget set-up and reviews for international locations
• Coordinate, train and implement proper transfer pricing policy to international locations
• Ensure timely closing of month and year end following appropriate accounting procedures and providing assistance and expertise when necessary
• Act as a liaison between corporate and international subsidiaries and assist in resolving accounting issues
• Assist in on-going training on Unicity’s accounting policies and procedures

Required Skills:

• Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills.
• Current knowledge of accounting rules and the impact on the company
• Current knowledge of international accounting requirements and foreign currency issues
• International experience preferred
• Foreign language helpful (Japanese and/or other Asian language preferred)
• Strong GL systems experience
• Working knowledge of Unicity’s policies and procedures, product line, and services
• Thorough understanding of Unicity’s vision and direction

Education and Experience:

• 1-3 years previous experience
• BS – Accounting (Masters of Accountancy/MBA preferred), 7+ years of experience in lieu of education
