Assistant HR Business Partner – St. Albans VT
The journey began in 1978 when two friends opened an ice cream shop in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont. Today Ben & Jerry’s is sold globally in far-off places with names we sometimes mispronounce and the ice cream business they built is as legendary as the ice cream is euphoric. Ben & Jerry’s produces super premium ice cream known for its high quality and unique add-ins ranging from large chunks of bakery items, chocolate, nuts, sauces and candy pieces, all with their own quirky memorable names. Purchased by Unilever in 2000, Ben & Jerry’s continues to operate very independently while adding the global reach and resources of Unilever.
Our factories are in the beautiful corridor of New England. Enjoy Green Mountains to the east, Lake Champlain to the west, a patchwork of northern forest, working farms and orchards, and the sunsets are to die for. And of course, there’s the world-famous foliage in the Fall.
We embrace the arts and music scene and includes cultural celebrations like the Discover Jazz Festival, the UVM and St. Mike’s theater series, and the South End Art Hop. Maybe the thought of skiing, snowboarding, boating, hiking, biking, camping and running the Vermont City Marathon thrills you. We’ve got it all along with tight-knit communities and great school systems made the area a great place to raise a family. Plus, who can deny the benefit of free ice cream daily?
