The Total Rewards (TR) Intern will support a variety of activities of the Compensation, Wellness and Retirement Center of Expertise (COE) functions. The TR intern will provide support on day-to-day operations of the TR team, have the opportunity to lead projects of his/her own and receive exposure to multiple areas of the business through the assignment of meaningful projects. The mission is to help the Human Resources Total Rewards team in conducting market research on a number of different programs to assist in modernizing those programs.
The perfect candidate is a high energy self-starter, who is not afraid to jump in and get their hands “dirty”.
Provide daily support to the TR team and learn how organizations run their compensation, benefits, and retirement programs/processes. Participate in meetings with HR business partners and business leaders, as the opportunities arise
Performs other various duties including the accurate and timely processing of confidential compensation data.
Key Projects (not all inclusive)
Assists with global salary structure development by identifying and analyzing market benchmarks and making recommendations for appropriate Job Families
In support of an ongoing Job Family Architecture project, review job family and job profile descriptions and provide recommendations to clarify career progression and consistency across the organization
Research and respond to inquiries regarding compensation practices and procedures; provide support to Compensation consultants in resolving compensation-related questions
Wellness and Retirement:
Research design options for health care model costing options
Evaluates current wellness model and researches options to improve utilization and efficiency
Researches options to modernize our current program offerings

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Working towards a degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Statistics, or another related field
Ability to deal with confidential and critical information in a professional manner
High energy self-starter who is curious
Excellent organization skills
Good Knowledge of Microsoft office tools
Attention to detail
Excellent written communication skills
Comfortable with ambiguity
Interest in benefits or finances
