Job overview and responsibilities
Responsible for day to day operational, financial and personnel performance of an international field station
Establishes or implements goals and standards to maintain and control operational standards, service levels, costs, and safety requirements, including security checkpoint and GSC responsibilities
Monitors performance against plans and initiates corrective actions to improve results
Determines and justifies equipment, facilities, staffing, and training needs to achieve station operations goals
Participates as team member to headquarters support organizations, as well as other United operating departments in administering their responsibilities
Ensures that corporate and divisional messages and initiatives are clearly communicated to station employees
Represents airport activities to local government agencies, works council as well as the US FAA/TSA.
Responsible for the SPN Station Emergency Response program
Oversees and directs operational safety and security; flight departure reliability; customer processing; plane-side operations including ramp operations and customer service; baggage handling; fuelling; aircraft appearance and cabin provisioning, airport policies and procedures; on-ground product technology and equipment deployment; and vendor operations
Responsible for United’s cargo operations at the airport including service delivery, warehouse operations, security and mail performance
Ensures consistent implementation of goals, plans and performance standards for customer service, operational performance, safety, financial performance, employee engagement and security
Provides financial oversight for station level Airport Operations & Cargo expenses – assuring targets are met
Continuously identifies new ways to add value and to position the organization for success
Attracts, develops and retains frontline leadership and frontline employees
Maintains positive vendor relations, various airport management relations and ongoing exchange of information and ideas
Represents the company to local governmental agencies (CNMI Customs, Immigrations, and US FAA/TSA, Local airport authorities & works councils)

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
5 years leadership experience
Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
2 years of operations experience
Variety of ATW/BTW and Cargo fields or other division experience
TSA, FAA, Local Government Regulations
