Job overview and responsibilities
The Assistant Manager of Pilot Hiring Strategic Projects is responsible for supporting the delivery of strategic pilot hiring initiatives, in partnership with Flight Operations, United Express and other internal and external stakeholders
Assists in the development, implementation and alignment of strategic projects that foster organizational and pilot hiring goals
Formulates process improvements and analyzes business trends and metrics to develop solutions and improvements to the pilot hiring process
Analyze and assess business trends and metrics to develop programs and processes that support pilot hiring growth and pathway programs
Manages administrative activities for assigned programs
Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders within and external to the organization to support program milestones
Supports data analysis and process mapping to help facilitate delivery of projects and program objectives
Required
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years managing or supporting project management
Ability to collaborate internally and externally with multiple stakeholders
Project management/planning experience
Strong analytical skills and familiarity
Problem resolution skills
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
The salary for this position is $75k to $85k dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. Bonus eligible. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
