United Auto Supply is looking for a dynamic and independent self-starter for an exciting new opportunity as a remote Accountant. This role can be a virtual position for the right candidate! Our corporate office is located in Syracuse NY and it is preferred the candidate resides in the Upstate NY area.

Responsibilities/Duties

· Performs and assists with most accounting functions: handle accounts payable postings, pay bills, assist with managing accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, month-end and year-end close/financials.

· Maintain accounting controls by preparing and executing policies and procedures.

· Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions.

· Produce accurate and timely financial reports.

· Ability to analyze financial reports and provide insight/guidance on projects and entities to owners.

· Ensure timely and accurate execution of daily accounting.

· Troubleshoot accounting and technology/software issues.

· Maintain virtual accounting software including create/delete users, create new entities as growth continues, create new financial reporting as new growth occurs.

Requirements

· 3-5 Years accounting experience

· Thorough Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Extremely organized individual

· Self-starter

· Independent work ethic and ability to problem solve

Work Location

· Can be fully remote or work in Syracuse, NY office. Preferred candidate to be in the CNY or surrounding Syracuse area

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
