Housing and Residential Education
The Housing and Residential Education staff at the University of Denver
provides housing and support services for 3000+ students living within University housing. Housing and Residential Education strives for a

Position
Summary
The Director of Residential Operations serves as a member of the Housing and Residential Education senior leadership
team and directly reports to the Executive Director. The Director is responsible for the strategic direction and comprehensive management of
all housing and operational processes, including housing capacity and occupancy, reporting & data analysis, assignments, support of
student dining experience, and space & facilities management. This position performs a variety of important administrative and
operational functions including, but not limited to, coordination of housing transitions, facilities management of residential facilities,
capital projects, and deferred maintenance planning, occupancy projections & management, emergency protocol development, and management
of residence hall security.The Director is responsible for the direct supervision, training, and evaluation of one (1) Assistant Director
(AD), one (1) Housing Manager, one (1) Graduate Assistant (GA), and indirect supervision of one (1) Housing Coordinator, and four (4)
Fraternity & Sorority Life Property Managers and seven (7) Desk Managers. The Director plays a significant role in furthering the
mission of the University of Denver, the strategic initiatives of the Division of Student Affairs and Inclusive Excellence, and the mission,
vision, and core values of Housing and Residential Education.

This position requires employees to work onsite 8:00am-4:30pm with some weekends, evenings and holidays. (Schedules vary by department and

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $80,000.
The University of Denver
has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of
posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate
will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary
