• provide strategic leadership and vision to the Architecture Program that aligns with the
  missions and strategic plans of the Program and School;
• contribute to the body of creative research, scholarship, and practice of
  the Program and School, and advance an innovative teaching, practice, and research agenda;
• build and sustain a diverse community
  through transparent decision-making, inclusive hiring and mentoring of faculty and staff, and energetic, inclusive student recruitment;
• foster a climate of collaboration and a productive scholarly environment that promotes excellence in research, teaching, and
  service;
• engage and collaborate across disciplines at the School and the wider university
• expand and solidify networks and
  strategic partnerships with practitioners, scholars, professional organizations, and institutions in the U.S. and abroad
• direct
  academic, staffing, and budgetary aspects of the architecture program;
• lead strategic growth and upcoming NAAB accreditation
  (2025).
