Minimum Required
Qualifications: Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, or related field plus minimum of six years of
progressive leadership, management, and supervisory experience within an auxiliary unit at a large, public university. Demonstrated
experience with facility management and personnel operations. Evidence of financial acumen in complex organizations. Evidence of strong
leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to create partnerships and work collaboratively with students, staff, faculty,
administrators, and other members of the community. Record of working with successful teams as well as managing large teams of diverse
employees. Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse student populations required. Exceptional written communication and organization
skills as evidenced by application materials.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of ethical,
legal, safety, and university standards/regulations regarding student housing operations. Demonstrated experience developing and mentoring
staff and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives. Demonstrated experience
collaborating with academic and administrative colleagues to facilitate student success. Experience working with a variety of facilities
financing plans including off-campus leases and public-private partnerships. Demonstrated commitment to and involvement in professional
associations. Knowledge of UNL policies and procedures preferred.
