Senior Producer
Summary of Position
Reporting to the director of content strategy, the senior producer will craft messaging and content for the UNH master brand for the university’s primary audiences, including but not limited to, prospective students and their families, alumni and donors, and New Hampshire stakeholders in government and business. The senior producer will concept and execute messaging and content across all channels and platforms, both within the context of a specific marketing campaign and in service of general brand awareness. This will include serving as the lead copywriter on multiple high-visibility projects, with the creative agility to tell UNH’s story through print, web, paid social media, digital advertising, out-of-home marketing and television placements as part of an integrated and dynamic creative team.
This senior-level creative professional will:
• Concept big ideas and shape messaging direction for multiple concurrent short- and long-term projects directed at a range of key stakeholders within and beyond the university, in close collaboration with the director of content strategy
• Serve as the copy lead on cross-functional marketing and creative teams in the development of campaign messaging, bringing marketing priorities to life through cohesive, compelling storytelling across strategic platforms, including print collateral, webpages, paid social media and digital advertising
• Collaborate extensively with colleagues in cross-functional teams (marketers, designers, videographers) to help build a consistent brand voice and tell a coherent story across digital, print, social, broadcast and multimedia.
• The senior producer will serve as a big picture copywriter, helping to turn marketing and enrollment goals into relevant and actionable creative for a variety of audiences, as well as a hands-on, detail-oriented content executor with the ability to adapt campaign themes across a variety of touchpoints; this will include print collateral, scripts for social media videos and promotional videos, OTT campaign development, email marketing and web copy.
• The senior producer will also be the lead content writer for web editorial across CPA-owned entities on UNH.edu, helping to establish and ensure a consistent and compelling brand voice across our web platform.

Other minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, communications, journalism or marketing. A minimum of seven years of experience in writing, advertising, communications, marketing or related fields, preferably in collaborative teams. Strong writing skills with attention to audience and tone. Ability to work across multiple channels, including agility with writing for video, email marketing, social media, web and digital advertising. Familiarity with SEO and/or agency/in-house experience a plus. Portfolio that demonstrates writing and campaign creative work is required.
