Job Discription
The Department of Neurosurgery is looking for a Clinical Quality Analyst who will be an integral part in the success of quality and patient safety. The successful candidate should be able to collect, interpret, and prepare complex datasets to ensure the integrity of data being reported. Collaboration with Department Administrator and Patient Safety Officer (PSO) in the management of monthly mortality and morbidity (M&M), aide with reviews of patient safety events and should expect to provide reports and identify opportunity for improvements. Creation of databases utilizing HIPAA compliant tracking systems and databases such as Redcap and the ability to build reporting dashboards using excel, tableau, or other reporting tools. Additionally, the individual should have excellent time management, organizational and excel skills.
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
