A sign on bonus is being offered to external candidates! A $1,000 bonus after 90 days of employment and a $2,000 bonus after 1 year of employment! Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law.

After probationary period, may work in a flexible office arrangement (some days virtual) for a portion of the work week. Any remaining work days will be in the office in South Burlington, VT.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Patient Account Representative functions independently within a payer team environment to appropriately resolve patient accounts by performing billing and follow-up activities to effectively collect balances due on assigned accounts. The expertise of each PAR enables the team to maximize hospital reimbursement while maintaining favorable public relations. The PAR is assigned a specific portion of the Accounts Receivable and is held accountable for the activity within the assigned A/R.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Billing Experience preferred, Health insurance background highly preferred, basic computer skills are required.
