OVERVIEW / SUMMARY
UX Architect responsible for designing the visual layout and functional behavior for Mobile Apps and responsively designed websites with the goal of driving e-commerce sales by enhancing overall appeal and usability for the end user.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the development of the User Experience (UX) strategy for delivering consistent, usable experiences across digital properties (web + Mobile App) that drives e-commerce sales and channel objectives.
• Leverage web analytics packages, usability studies/research, and modern UX best practices to produce innovative, industry-leading, and future-focused experiences
• Create UX wireframes, information architecture diagrams, high-fidelity functional prototypes, and detailed specifications on cross-functional projects using wireframe and graphic design software packages
• Design end-to-end digital experiences for all supported screen sizes, device types, and user contexts (Responsive Design/Adaptive Design). Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to quickly iterate based on consultation with product owners and business stakeholders
• Present UX information to business stakeholders to educate and/or assist with gaining buy-in for strategic direction! Partner with third-party vendors in the digital space to drive UX solutions that sync with the company’s goals and business rules
• Stay up-to-date on modern UX methodologies and principles! Communicate UX direction to cross-functional audience of graphic designers, front-end developers, and back-end engineers. Model compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

• Bachelor degree (preferred concentration in human computer interaction, UX, web design) or 4 years equivalent work experience required
• 4 to 6 years of experience as either a UX architect, designer, developer and/or web designer required
• 4 to 6 years of experience producing wireframes using software (Axure, etc.)
• 2 to 3 years of experience working with HTML5, CSS/SASS, and web analytics terms, techniques and data using Google Analytics, ClickTale, ForeSee, etc. Knowledge of Javascript a plus.
• Adept understanding of UX techniques for information architecture, interaction design, and user-centered design principles
• Technically skilled, creative user experience expert with excellent communication skills required
• Proven experience developing user experiences for small and medium-sized mobile devices (phones & tablets) in a web and App setting
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated success collaborating with stakeholders, project teams, and external partners
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate effectively in writing)
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience using Illustrator, Photoshop or equivalent graphic design software
• Ability to quickly assimilate business and technical information required; business knowledge of the wireless industry a plus
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal development, including the ability to learn and apply new techniques
