responsible for weighing classifying and keeping records of weights for materials delivered coordinate delivery of materials to the scrap metal yard cleans material by cutting with shear gas burning or electrical cutting equipment to dismantle metals of various dimension tolerance and strength ensurespliance with established safety and security policies and procedures proes gance to personnel in yard to ensure safety and wellbeing performs other related duties as assigned requirements conditions of employment must meet federal employment suitability requirements and successfulpletion of scrap metals to the extent and manner that maximizes the materials value while minimizing effort expended and the costs associates with the processing of these materials prior to making them available for sale knowledge of vehicle operatio nd equipment safety regulations knowledge of and experience in the operation of the following recycling equipment utilized in the scrap metal recycling program forklift front end loader stake bed truck chop saw shears bailers cable stripping machines and gas operated cutting torches possesses a goodmand of the english language and be capable of giving oral reports ability to accurately distinguish colors in order to effectivelyentify scrap metals spark colors or a reaction tints assures work gets started sets the pace and demonstrates proper work
