In order to qualify for a Diversity and Inclusion Resource Specialist at the GS-301-11 level, you must: A. have completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M. Education must be related to the position to be qualifying; OR B. have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector, which includes assisting with implementing and evaluating diversity and inclusion initiatives/programs. This specialized experience includes the following types of tasks: Recommending initiatives that promote equitable culture of diversity and inclusion (e.g., recruitment, engagement events); Providing suggestions to improve existing diversity policies/programs to ensure compliance with legal guidelines and requirements (e.g., Title V, Title VII, EEOC regulations); Analyzing organizational data (e.g., workforce statistics) to help assess effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives/programs; AND, Assisting with the design or implementation of projects/initiatives to enhance diversity and inclusion (e.g., career fairs, job advertisements); OR C. have a combination of post baccalaureate education related to the position and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. In order to qualify for a Diversity and Inclusion Resource Specialist at the GS-301-12 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector, which includes recommending strategies for planning, implementing, and evaluating diversity and inclusion initiatives/programs. This specialized experience includes the following types of tasks: Providing recommendations to leadership that promote equitable culture of diversity and inclusion (e.g., recruitment, engagement events); Evaluating organizational policies or evaluating programs to ensure compliance with legal guidelines and requirements (e.g., Title V, Title VII, EEOC regulations); Analyzing organizational data (e.g., workforce statistics) to assess effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives/programs; AND , Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., HR, EEOC) to design or implement diversity and inclusion programs or initiatives (e.g., upward mobility, targeted recruitment). In order to qualify for a Diversity and Inclusion Resource Specialist at the GS-301-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector, which includes planning, implementation and evaluation of diversity and inclusion initiatives/programs? This specialized experience includes the following types of tasks: Assisting with the design of policies to ensure compliance with legal guidelines and requirements (e.g., Title V, Title VII, EEOC regulations); Leading analysis of organizational data (e.g., workforce statistics) to assess effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives/programs; Developing programs to enhance the HR life cycle (i.e., recruitment, hiring, training/development, promotions, and separations) and eliminate barriers to a diverse workforce across all levels of an organization; AND, Partnering with cross-functional leadership (e.g., HR, EEOC) to design or implement diversity and inclusion programs or initiatives (e.g., upward mobility, targeted recruitment).
