• A strong background in the following: C# or other object-oriented language, SQL, MS Excel, MS Office products, and database applications

A typical day may look like this:

• Analyzes user specifications and requirements. Codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs on large-scale, complex projects
• Analyzes, evaluates and modifies existing or proposed systems and related devices
• Coordinates with users to ensure timely and efficient software releases and installation
• Works with users to define system requirements and resolve problems
• Works under the direction of the Development Lead and Senior IT Management
• Designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases. Maintains database dictionaries and ensures system integration
• Coordinates with other IT departments to ensure implementation and monitoring of databases
• Investigates system errors, and ensures user accessibility and performance
• Revises and updates applications and documentation as required
• Creates and modifies applications necessary for successful plant operations

· 20% Standing

· 80% Sitting

· Bending and lifting up to 50+ lbs.

Training Requirements:

· Basic infrastructure and hardware knowledge

· Moderate to advanced Microsoft SQL training or working experience

· AutoCrib software knowledge

· Project management training or working experience

· Development in a Visual Studio environment

· Development in C# and/or other object-oriented languages
