Experience and Education
Minimum Bachelors Degree preferred, additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a hospital or multi-hospital system supply chain management, with a strong background in a clinical setting.
Minimum of 1 year experience in management.
Job Duties
Utilization of the asset and bed management systems effectively for tracking patients, transport staff, patient transfers, room turn over, EVS cleaning scheduled and times, etc.
Assist in the daily coordination of workflow between nursing and support services (room cleaning, equipment cleaning/deployment, telemetry monitoring equipment/cables, oxygen, wheelchairs, etc.).
Demonstrate consistent improvements in performance metrics, providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to facilitate daily operations and identify improvement opportunities
Coordinate with laboratory and departments for tracking and delivery of all specimens, supplies, equipment, etc.
Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator -assets for patient transfers, discharges, and admissions for room set up and equipment distribution. Included but not limited to telemetry and telemetry cables, oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, etc.
Coordinate with laboratory and departments for tracking and delivery of all specimens.
Assist the logistics manager with data for a monthly reconciliation with metrics recalled via the asset management system.
Evaluation of assets and equipment to assist in developing, monitoring, and maintaining PAR level standards for items needed for transport equipment.
Assures patients/specimens/supplies/equipment arrive at correct location consistently achieving correlated performance metrics.
Assures availability of effectively trained transportation team members as necessary to accomplish performance objectives.
