The Rehab Clinical Manager is responsible for high quality clinical and financial outcomes for services provided to patients by an interdisciplinary team. The Rehab Clinical Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and leading the assigned team in the provision of effective and efficient clinical services. The Rehab Clinical Manager supervises, supports, and educates staff at the point of service in the field and in the office. This position supports an efficient and accurate revenue cycle by capturing appropriate revenue and managing the flow of documentation within the team to minimize days in accounts receivable
Education:
Masters in PT, OT or SLP
Experience:
Four to six years of relevant clinical experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired preferred
License Requirements:
Current Vermont PT, OT, or SLP license
Performance Standards:

• Support, develop and supervise an interdisciplinary team Therapists, MSWs, and administrative support staff
• Oversee services provided to an active patient census of approximately 150-200 patients: coordinate the assignment of care, ensure clinical integrity of practice, and support the flow of documentation
• Interview and make hiring recommendations
• Coordinate new staff orientation/training, staff development programs, and team building programs
• Counsel and take appropriate action when departmental policy or professional standards are violated and make employee termination decisions, as needed
• Ensure clinicians comply with and participate in mandated orientation, education and weekly team meetings
• Mentor competency in the areas of clinical assessment, OASIS data-gathering/interpretation, documentation, time-management, team efficiency, and operation support systems
• Evaluate clinical competency through direct observation, skills assessment, and timely performance appraisals, including ensuring OASIS competency in the field practice and accurate documentation capture at the point of care, when possible
