Manager, Physician Recruitment
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of Valley Medical Group leadership and in coordination with the Director of Talent Acquisition, this role is responsible for developing, implementing and executing a comprehensive physician recruitment and retention program for Valley Medical Group physicians and providers. Responsible for providing strategies, direction and developing all aspects of physician recruitment, including sourcing, attracting and on-boarding candidates, as well as establishing strategies to achieve successful retention of Valley’s providers. Oversees the daily operations and management of Provider Specialists.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably a degree in Psychology, Human Resources or Business Administration, or pertinent experience in Human Resources management. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
3 years of management experience preferred * At least 3 years of experience in physician and/or provider recruitment required
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Knowledge of provider credentialing process. * Effective oral communication skills. * Experience in working with an applicant tracking or HRIS system. * Analytical skills to identify and solve organizational and interpersonal problems. * Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with different levels across the organization. * Knowledge and experience with physician associations, databases, and other sourcing tools for provider talent. * Demonstrated service and customer orientation and ability to exhibit Valley’s leadership and service standards. * Strong project management, process improvement, program development, decision-making, change management, and analytical skills required.
