Residential Construction Estimator (REMOTE)
** This is a remote position. Candidates must live in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida **

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, revise and present detailed estimates for residential and commercial construction projects from plans and existing conditions.
- Visit job sites as required.
- Work with the homeowner to build a scope of work if one does not exist yet.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors & subcontractors.
- Solicit bids from subcontractors & vendors.
- Manage bids from subcontractors
- Prepare material & labor estimates for upcoming projects on time.
- Prepare detailed cost analysis.
- Present highly detailed estimates to clients in a clear, understandable manner.
- Compile and record actual costs for use by the site supervisors and project manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to read & interpret plan files & detailed schematics.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, construction management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years experience in estimating residential and commercial construction.
