Position purpose
The Director of Admissions provides leadership and coordination for the planning and
implementation of effective recruitment strategies and works closely with the academic and senior leadership to develop and implement a
comprehensive strategic enrollment management plan that works to achieve the strategic vision developed by the College. The director is
responsible for planning, staffing, training, managing and implementing new student recruitment, admission programs and academic advisement
programs designed to attract and enroll undergraduate, transfer and graduate students. The director will also assist the institution in
developing retention strategies that contribute to sustaining enrollment. The director will represent the College at public events and visit
with counselors at high schools and two-year institutions to explain admissions requirements and more.

This position is located in an office environment. Generally, an employee needs to be
able to sit, stand, and navigate within the office area. The office equipment either individually used or shared with a department is the
responsibility of all employees.
This position requires travel, both local and overnight.
