HR lead for the site ensuring the necessary HR services across a range of areas are undertaken to effectively support the business/function and lead on a positive employee relations climate.

• Advises line managers’ and business on HR procedures, policies, new projects and initiatives.
• Leads more strategic HR/people topics e.g. talent management, recruitment and retention, employee engagement for their site.
• Ensures the effective implementation of relevant HR/people policies and procedures.
• Drives effective HR service delivery including activities of recruitment, absence, payroll, rewards and benefits, systems and performance review.
• Take a lead role in employee relations activities on the site, administering the recognition agreement, and escalating issues where appropriate to line manager and Site Director.
• Drives a performance driven culture in Veranova by leading effective performance review processes and the principles of inspiring performance, career conversations, and goal deployment
• Develops employee engagement strategy with oversight by manager.
• Conducts workforce planning.
• Partners with site EHS on Occupational Health issues and surveillance at the site
• Responsible for managing roll-out of key HR programs and initiatives throughout the year.
• Manage & supervise junior members of the HR team, responsible for setting goals & objectives, ensuring buy in from key stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned

Bachelors in Human Resources or related field

7+ years experience as a generalist in Human Resources

1-2 years of mentoring or supervisory experience

Good understanding of a wide range of HR disciplines

Able to manage, organize and prioritize own workload

Able to effectively communicate (oral and written) across the business structure

Proven experience building positive relationships and functioning as a true HR Business Partner

Team Player

Accurate attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
