Qualifications
Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
Medical terminology: 1 year (preferred)
Computer skills: 1 year (preferred)
Patient registration: 1 year (preferred)
Insurance authorizations check: 1 year (preferred but can train)

• Not afraid to ask questions when in doubt
• Composing insurance pre-authorizations through writing, grammar, and spelling skills
• Medical Terminology a plus
• Familiarity with Insurance Companies a plus
• Familiarity with Optimus Software a plus
• You will be provided with extensive training and support

Details:
This private specialized outpatient Vestibular Physical Therapy clinic is looking for a medical office receptionist (previous medical office experience preferred). Ability to provide high quality customer service with patients that are dealing with vertigo and imbalance conditions with high anxiety. Looking for someone with a positive attitude and a multi-tasker that can self-initiate as this is a remote position.

Objective measures for productivity are integrated in our system so this can allow for more hours per week. The role includes checking emails, voicemails and faxes and communicating with patients and other medical providers, scheduling patients and enrolling them in our electronic documentation system. Skills in marketing or social media are a bonus but not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
