Purpose & Overview
Senior Management position responsible for leading and managing teams that support HR applications and projects. Coach and mentor, a team of technology associates in career development and performance as well as consultants and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with partners and key stakeholders to deliver technology solutions against short- and long-term strategies
- Possesses deep knowledge and experience of workforce management, timekeeping, and other HR technologies
- Manages technical development across multiple HR SaaS solutions
- Manages a technology team of 10-12+ FTE and consultants
- Key liaison with Payroll, Compliance, Store Operations, DC Operations and Call Center leadership to prioritize, plan, and schedule system enhancements.
- Understands HR business process concepts with abilities to design/implement solutions supporting those processes.
- Challenges business processes to ensure they are appropriately meeting business objectives.
- Establishes and monitors performance objectives for team and conduct performance evaluations, monitor succession plans, career development and merit process as defined by HR.
- Establishes active/project timelines, deliver projects on budget and on time.
- Develops tactical and strategic plans for application changes, resource loading, application development and maintenance.
- Prepares and communicates status, issues and opportunities to the stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 10-12+ years of HR Technology experience (3-5+ years of SaaS)
- 2-4+ years or Oracle HCM Cloud or UKG (Kronos) Workforce Dimensions cloud solutions
- Strong knowledge of time & labor, payroll, scheduling and forecasting in North America, preferably in a Retail environment
- Strong knowledge and experience with SaaS development and integration tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple system development projects in a multi-platform environment, utilizing both in-house resources and consultants.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Broad knowledge base in multiple applications or businesses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing HR Technology in a global company with 100,000+ employees
- Hands on technical development experience in large HR cloud technologies
- Experience implementing or managing HR Technology in a global environment
- Retail IT experience is desired
