Our Resident Care Assistant (RCA) is a position that provides cares for residents in a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF).
Villa St. Francis is a licensed CBRF. The employees of Villa St. Francis are part of the Felician Sponsored Ministries-Milwaukee. We strongly care about our employees and residents.
Candidates with CBRF Certificates are preferred. We will CBRF train the right person. CBRF training is standard precautions, first aid and choking, fire safety, resident rights, challenging behaviors, client group specific, and medication administration.
The RCA position is responsible for safeguarding each resident’s right to privacy, confidentiality, and self-worth by assisting residents who have a need for personal care including dressing and undressing/setting out clothes; bathing; grooming and hygiene/toileting, depends, etc.; wake up calls; making or opening a bed; changing and washing bed linens when needed; light housekeeping; transportation to meals within building; assistance in dining room as needed.
Also RCA’s also document and communicate resident concerns and changes in their condition to the nurse on duty. If you are a fit, please apply.
