Position Purpose: Perform a variety of tasks focused on the financial, inventory and payroll aspects of the Village. Primarily serving as payroll administrator duties include overseeing and supervising the organizations payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This position is also tasked with providing procurement support, will handle routine purchasing assignments and assistant to the Finance Director.
Essential Functions (list in order of importance including measures)
Responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for approximately 160 employees.
Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; track and deduct all garnishments and other
payroll deductions
submissions of approved timesheets, ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll system.
