Vintage Iron and Restoration, a well-established and prestigious classic car repair and restoration shop in North Scottsdale is seeking a project-oriented restoration specialist to join our team. If you appreciate classic and muscle cars, you’ll love the environment. We have a team atmosphere with a strong customer service mindset throughout the entire organization. We run a super clean shop with upscale cars and customers that expect a high level of professionalism. We are looking for someone with a diverse set of skills who can hit the ground running. We are willing to train the right person.
Requirements:
- Must know classic American vehicles – Bumper to Bumper – and understand the importance of proper diagnosis and repair.
- Capacity to deal with a dynamic workload while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude (attitude is huge to us).
- You will be assigned multiple cars at any given time so the ability to multitask and be detail oriented is a must.
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate among all levels of the organization.
Preferred Skill Set:
- Custom metal work and fabrication
- Frame Off Restoration – disassemble and reassemble complete car
- Panel replacement
- Mig welding
- Rust repair
- Carburetion, Ignition, and Tuning.
- Brake and Suspension work / 4 Link / Coil Overs / Air Bags
- Electrical diag and repair / Complete re-wires
- Engine repair and swaps
- Transmission R&R
- Clutch replacement and shifter set-up
- Rear End maintenance, repair, gear set-up and swaps
- Air Conditioning System – install and repair
- Cooling system repair and maintenance.
- Willingness and desire to learn new skills is very important
