SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALITY OF OPERATIONS:
The busser is responsible for assisting the guest to ensure that their restaurant experience is at or above our standards. The busser must operate the restaurant in accordance with the company’s policies and guidelines. The busser must have an attention for detail in all areas of the operation, including the food, service, hospitality, safety, cleanliness and sanitation. In particular:
COMMUNICATION:
The busser is responsible for ensuring that proper communication occurs between the guest and the rest of the staff; including but not limited to the kitchen staff, server, food runner, manager and other bussers. The busser should always be apprised of all happenings in and around the tables and guests. A busser must also be comfortable and confident speaking in person and on the phone with guest. Multitasking and have a strong memory or ability to write down notes quickly and accurately are imperative.
