Your mission:
The Manager of Talent Acquisition will play an important role sourcing candidates at all levels of the organization, to ensure a viable workforce for the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. This role will be responsible for the hiring and processing of all team members, as well as perform professional recruiting for management, salaried, technical, and executive positions. The Nitty-Gritty:
This role will work closely with Director of Human Resources to:

• Responsible for managing and executing the hiring of all team members for Virgin Hotels Las Vegas
• Manage the HRIT system as become the department expert
• Develop automated and streamlined HRIT processes
• Develop and administer recruitment and retention programs
• Be able to develop and maintain a network of candidates through traditional methods, use of social media and relevant technologies, to ensure a quality candidate pool
• Develop recruitment programs including job fairs, destination recruitment, building relationships with candidates, enhance and expand current college recruitment programs, to facilitate the achievement of quality staffing levels
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain ongoing relationships with hiring managers to understand business needs
• Interview, assess, conduct reference checks and places candidates that satisfy the hiring managers’ requirements
• Establish and maintain Human Resources department hiring and recruiting objectives, standards, procedures, and budget to ensure the proper management of recruitment functions.
• Execute recruitment plan by aggressively recruiting for well-qualified candidates from a variety of sources, assessing candidates, screening, and recommending finalists
• Interpret federal and state employment laws and Company policies to ensure consistent application and compliance
• Continuously explore new recruiting sources, job boards, and forums to grow the candidate pool
• Actively maintain Company Careers social media presence
• Act as a brand ambassador for Virgin Hotels Las Vegas by being able to provide detailed information on Company culture, guest service standards and initiatives

Background must-have:

• Completion of a high school education in addition to a minimum of six years human resources experience
• Ability to review, comprehend and respond to all necessary department information in timely manner
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels, as well as with outside contacts
• Proficient in the development and management of recruitment programs and department plan within budget constraints
• Ability to develop effective recruiting programs for all positions
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a demonstrated thorough knowledge of all state and federal employment laws and regulations
• Must have extensive knowledge of various interviewing techniques
• Must have strong marketing skills and be able to influence at all levels
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based applicant tracking systems, and portable technologies

Recommended nice-to-have

• Previous recruitment experience in a similar resort setting
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resource management, or a related field
