VME Hiring for Global Marketing Manager (Oil & Gas and Energy Industry) at Tyler, TX Full Time

Summary
Provide management and hands on responsibilities at a VME Group level for marketing, branding and communications.

Essential Functions

• Working with the People and Culture department to support a “One VME” message, both internally and externally
• Develop a group-wide marketing plan for consistent and standardized messaging. Including our products, services, markets, and brand.
• Develop group-wide branding guidelines, from project profiles, emails to social media to facility signage
• Develop group-wide communications plan covering protocols and standardized procedures for external and internal communications, including internal notices and announcements, business and project updates, social media, WWW, public relations, and emergency communications announcements
• Manage the external announcement process, content and approvals for company and project updates including our WWW and social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp
• Manage marketing initiatives such as announcements, product launches and brochures
• Manage prequalification and client approval vendor registered folders, and support the standardization of marketing, sales, and proposals pre-qualifications narratives
• Provide guidance for any third-party marketing consulting such as WWW redesign, language translations, regional requests etc.
• Support business development with maintaining prequalification and presentation data such as market and regional performance, project and reference lists, historical revenues and backlog, process equipment capacity, safety and manpower statistics
• Support business development with generating reports from data analysis tools such as Power BI and CRM Training will be provided.
• Coordinate attendance and recommendation for VME’s participation at trade shows and conference exhibitions
• Coordinate corporate, strategic and department conferences including facilities, travel office coordination
• Manage business development and operations customer satisfaction questionnaires and analysis
• Domestic and international travel as needed
• Actively promote and personally observe all company policies, employee handbook, safety and security procedures
• Comply with company work schedule, including but not limited to overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
• Comply with company timekeeping policy

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to fluently speak, read and write English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
• Self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and create reports
• High level of creativity
• Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Conduct direct report evaluations
• Provide regular performance feedback
• Review and approve pay period time sheets
• Make self-available to staff
• Develop and implement department policies and procedures
• Ensure all company policies are followed
• Develop skills of subordinates and encourage growth
• Look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
• Participate in employment processes including hiring, disciplinary action and termination

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, ideally also branding and communications
• Proven working experience in digital marketing
• Experience leading and managing marketing datebase, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Oil & Gas and Energy industry experience
• Some Technical experience in the Oil & Gas and Energy Industry, a plus
